Three years after her death, Greek composer Sophia Alexandrou, Czech visual artist Vojtech Janyška and French director Éric Cénat are joining forces to celebrate this emblematic figure of Greek poetry. Winner of the European Literature Prize, Kikí Dimoulá left her mark on her country's poetry scene. In her repertoire, Le peu du monde has a very special place. Written in 1971 and translated into several languages, this work brought her worldwide fame. She depicts the passing of time, daily life and solitude in a bittersweet tone. Her unique perspective still resonates today. To illustrate this timeless text, the three European artists interweave, on stage, musical creation on the piano, spoken or sung French and Greek voices and animated projections of watercolour paintings. A way for them to breathe new life into this work and make it eternal.

Vojtech Janyska

Visual artist and videographer

The works of the painter and video artist Vojtech Janyska are influenced by his numerous travels in Asia and more particularly in India, a country whose language and culture he studied, and whose cinematographic creation he passionately follows...

He regularly creates theatre sets incorporating video projections (including Hotel Europe with Jacques Weber, directed by Dino Mustafic at the Théâtre de l'Atelier, or most recently Maryvonne by Camille Berthelot, WET 2020 - CDN festival in Tours).

Since 2003, Vojtech Janyska has presented his work in numerous galleries in France and the Czech Republic, where the National Gallery acquired two of his paintings. He regularly invests public spaces, such as during his "manifestation bien" , where he displayed about a hundred life-size painted wooden figures on the forecourt of the Centre Georges Pompidou.

Lea Laouaf

With a degree in History and a Master's degree in Teaching, Education and Training, Léa taught History-Geography in a college for a year.

She was recruited as a volunteer on a civic service mission by the Théâtre de l'Imprévu to ensure, alongside Morgane Nory and Éric Cénat, the organization of the 2023 edition of the Frankoscény festival. From November 2022, she worked from the Alliance Française in Pardubice.
